SPORT PRODUCTION

The SPORT PRODUCTION line is a complete replacement exhaust system. It represents the first level of serious performance improvement at a reasonable price, using a completely redesigned exhaust system.

It is intended for customers who expect sports performance, but not the extreme racing characteristics of our race-replica exhaust systems. The major advantage of the SPORT PRODUCTION line is that it is intended for everyday use, but don't think that the performance of the system suffers as a result! On the contrary, the SPORT PRODUCTION line offers power and torque which stock exhaust systems simply cannot match!

The main characteristic of the SPORT PRODUCTION line is the reworking of the system, allowing increased available power and torque over the entire rpm range. This means a smoother application of power and torque, making the bike especially pleasant for everyday riding. At the same time the SPORT PRODUCTION system gives the bike an unmistakable sound, noticeably lighter weight and aesthetic elegance, in most cases in polished stainless steel.

Some Sport Production models include crossover tubes installed between the header tubes, as test results indicated that for these models the crossover tubes provide increased exhaust system performance.

Street legal versions of SPORT PRODUCTION line exhaust systems are also available for certain models.

RACE CONICAL

The RACING line is the one which quickens the pulse of motorcyclists. It is developed and tuned especially for each specific model of motorcycle, without regard to the level of racing character of the bike. It is also intended for race-hardened riders who are used to trying to ride the perfect line on the race course.

Even though the point is to increase adrenalin flow throughout the rider's body, many riders choose to use this system for everyday use, as the system can be installed on an otherwise stock bike.

The Akrapovic RACING line has a very distinctive design. It is a complete exhaust system, composed of conical elements which due to the specifics of their construction require watchmaker's precision and state-of-the-art welding technology, making it essentially a work of art! The conical composition of the system allows maximum exploitation of the physical features of the flow of exhaust gases.

The system is designed to reach the limit and is in each case individually specific; this is shown in the installation of crossover tubes between the header tubes. If the results of testing show no improvement using the crossover tubes, they are not installed.

EVOLUTION

If you think the Racing line is the exhaust system to raise the competition’s eyebrows, prepare yourself for a shock! The EVOLUTION line is proof of your discriminating taste in technical achievement – essentially a custom exhaust system.

The EVOLUTION line is an exceptional product. Due to the unconventional physical structure of each design, it is extremely difficult to make sweeping generalizations about them. Each one is a masterpiece intended exclusively for a particular model of bike and engine type.

Some EVOLUTION line models can be attached to the stock fittings and require no additional modification to the bike, while certain models are developed on the basis of factory racing kits intended for custom racing bikes, and therefore do not fit onto the stock motorcycle. In order to gain the maximum advantage from these models, the EFI mapping may have to be reset or the carburetor may have to be re-jetted, and in certain cases some minor modifications to the exterior of the bike or the engine are required. Replacement parts for such modifications are available with the factory race kits.
