Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept Visa, MasterCard and Switch. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, and snail mail or over the Internet.

You may cancel your contract with us within 7 working days after receipt of goods. Your money will be refunded within 30 days of cancellation, however a 20% restocking fee will be charged on the basis that the miniumium charged is £5.00. Please return the goods using the method by which they were sent. You are responsible for the cost of returning unwanted goods or having the goods collected. A deduction will be made from the refund to cover the direct cost of collecting the goods if you have not returned the goods within this period. On any non stocked item that has to be specially ordered for the customer, we reserve the right to charge a deposit of £100.00 (£400.00 on wheels) or 25%, whichever is greater or request the full amount (depending on the circumstances) of the order value to the customers credit/debit card. This is non-refundable in the event of cancellation, based upon the customer's explicit instructions to order the goods on their behalf.

Shipping And Handling The Delivery costs, security and reliability is a major concern. Due to International shipping companies now charging on volume weight, as apposed to actual weight, calculations can vary. If you are ordering many items, the calculation will 'volume-up' the weight and calculate the amount to charge for shipping accordingly. This can work both ways in that the system may work out postage to be more than the actual amount and in this case, you will be charged the smaller amount. If the shipping amount exceeds that which you were shown at the time of placing the order, we will notify you of any miscalculation in shipping charges immediately and await your approval, prior to shipment. Also, due to the recent and considerable increase in attempted credit card fraud we have experienced, Harris Performance have had no alternative but to change our policy to only deliver to the credit card holders address.

Delivery Schedule It is our policy to process orders with the utmost urgency and our objective is to deliver your product next business day. However, occasionally we are reliant on subcontractors and/or outside suppliers and a product will be placed on backorder. Should Harris Performance not be in a position to deliver your order within 30 days, you will be advised of the situation and asked if you wish to continue to wait or cancel the order. Regarding payment, our policy is not to debit your credit card until we ship your order.

Guarantee Harris Performance Products Ltd guarantees their products as per national and international legislation. Third party products supplied by Harris Performance Products Ltd are covered by original manufactures guarantee and all current statutory legislation. All fair and reasonable complaints will be dealt with quickly, efficiently and sympathetically. In the event of genuine complaints we will replace or refund. Your statutory rights are not affected. We will endeavour to respond to all complaints within 5 working days and keep you informed throughout the process after giving you an estimated time to the resolution of the problem.

Tax Charges UK VAT at the current rate will be charged on all sales to the UK and EEC. If EEC customers are VAT registered and we are notified of the relevant authentic VAT registration number, VAT will not be charged. UK VAT will not be charged on exports to non EEC countries but VAT will be charged for any item delivered to a UK address. The recipient of any goods exported exempt of VAT will be responsible for all National taxes and import duties levied and accrued.

Credit Card Security We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and secondly, to provide you with the best possible service. We do not disclose buyers information to third parties, nor will we e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us. The type of information Harris will collect about you includes: your name, address, phone number, email address and credit/debit card details. Harris will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies, we will correct it promptly. The personal information that Harris holds will be held securely in accordance with the law and the Which? Web Trader Code of Practice. If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first.
