TRANSLOGIC MICRO DASH 2
TRANSLOGIC MICRO DASH 2
This Micro Dash motorcycle gauge utilises the pinnacle of LCD technology culminating in the perfect contrast for daytime clarity and backlighting at night. The Micro Dash LCD gauge is machined from billet aluminium for superior durability. This replacement gauge offers user defined `cool blue' or `soft red' backlighting, gear position indication, comprises a 7 Mega-bright LED shiftlight array for optimum rpm gear shifts, a lap timer which is operated manually by the sealed tactile waterproof button which is supplied either separately or assembled into a CNC machined handle bar bracket suitable for 7/8" dia handle bars. There is a large sweeping bar graph type tacho gauge rpm indicator, speedometer reading, also temperature, battery voltage, neutral selection and high beam activation and 2 input channels which are ideal for indicators. You can select between KMH or MPH configurations and there is a user defined low fuel level warning indication.

The TLS-MD2 Micro Dash digital motorcycle gauge comes with a unique mounting bracket kit as standard used to attach the Micro Dash race bike gauge into the original gauge position on a motorcycle. All Micro Dash gauge systems feature a universal wiring harness and fitting kit which can be custom fitted to any motorcycle other than motorcycles/vehicles with built-in security devices that communicate between the ignition key and the original OEM gauges. The Micro Dash digital motorcycle gauge is weatherproof to IP66 specifications.

The Micro Dash LCD gauges require attaching to your existing wiring loom. The universal wiring harness supplied have been designed to lay through the bike so the appropriate wires fall into their respective positions close to the connection areas. Typically there are 7 wires to connect if all the features are required, neutral, high beam, indicators left and right, oil pressure/level, +12v ignition on supply and RPM sensing.

The temperature sensor is supplied in the universal harness and is a copper ring terminal thermister type, very accurate.

This sensor is attached to one of the thermostat housing bolts on the back of the block on the opposite side to the exhaust headers. The software within the Micro Dash compensates for the temperature differential between the inside and the outside of the head surface, approximately 4-6 degrees.

The Micro Dash gauge is mounted using the 4 brackets and bobbins supplied with the kit. These items can be adjusted to suit providing an effective mounting solution. Translogic offers some specific Micro Dash mounting brackets for some popular models, check the suitability of these brackets to ensure you order the correct item.

The retro-fit speed sensor needs to be positioned so it is directed at between 2 and 6 ferrous metal targets rotating on the rear wheel, either the sprocket nuts or the brake disc rivets are ideal, (stainless steel or aluminium nuts/rivets are not suitable). A universal bracket is supplied with each Micro Dash kit.

It features an automatic `powerdown' feature where the control unit draws zero current allowing the quickshifter to remain powered continuously. Plug & play connectors come as standard for all ignition coil stick installations.

The Translogic Systems Ltd `Industry award winning design' GP pressure sensors do not require any adjusting and are a simple plug & play device of unparalleled racing success. Simplicity and reliability has been the key to aid top level race teams with fast sensor installations and replacement in the event of massive crashes in top level racing. The GP pressure sensors give Factory race team technicians the confidence that each sensor performs exactly the same on each different race bike installation. A 3 piece universal tie rod kit is supplied with each quickshifter system featuring the GP pressure sensors.

The Linear sensors TLS-QS2LS offer the ability to install the Quickshifter system to installations where a tie rod is not present and the gear lever is directly attached to the gear select shaft exiting the gear box. These Linear sensors monitor the position of the gear lever for precise quickshifting and offer repeatable quickshift triggering to 0.10mm. The Linear sensors are triple sealed for longevity and share many of the construction features of the GP pressure sensors.

TRANSLOGIC QUICKSHIFTER SYSTEM 4
TRANSLOGIC QUICKSHIFTER SYSTEM 4
This `F' series Quickshifter system is a full factory specification Superbike quickshifter with AST (Adaptive Shift Technology) + IntellishiftTM, the world's first and only adaptive quickshifter which allows you to shift up gears at constant or full throttle without the use of the clutch for ultra smooth up-shifts at any RPM. This innovative system adapts itself to the RPM of the engine bringing the engine back on line progressively at lower engine revolutions simulating the action of the human hand/foot when shifting gear. As the RPMs rise, each gear change remains as smooth as possible as the `F' series ECU has 100s of different interrupt durations at its disposal to execute the perfect quickshift. Typically 3 yards can be gained per gear shift and a saving of around 200ms can be made per gear shift for those long staightaways. This unique quickshifter design only operates after the first 25% of the rev range which results in no stalling when selecting neutral. These Quickshifter systems are available with either GP pressure sensors and universal tie-rod kit or with a linear sensor for direct gear lever attachment.

This Quickshifter is micro controlled and therefore does not require any dials or complicated set-up procedure, just a single button press to initialize making setting up simple.

The Quickshifter ECU requires a ring terminal placed on the negative battery terminal and the plug & play connectors attached to the ignition coil sticks. In cases where a motorcycle features a `CDI ignition' system the ignition-on supply wire must be attached to a suitable ignition-on supply, like a head light or brake light +12volt supply wire.

TRANSLOGIC POWERSHIFTER SYSTEM 2
TRANSLOGIC POWERSHIFTER SYSTEM 2
This Powershift push button gear shifter is the most compact of all the push button gear shifter systems available which can select gears both up and down the gearbox. Neutral can be selected easily by momentarily pressing either the up or down buttons. The success of this innovative design is due to the control of the shifter action and its operating characteristics in being able to mimic the speed and movement of the human foot/hand during it's shift cycle culminating in the perfect gearshift simulation. The TLS-PS2 system comes with a CNC machined aluminium bracket which houses the 2 weather shift buttons and is suitable for mounting to 7/8" handle bars. Each button has gold plated contacts to ensure only the cleanest shift signal.

These latest Powershift systems now have faster repeating gearshifts resulting in successive gearshifts within 200ms!

This Powershift push button gear shift system is electro-mechanical and therefore does not require any compressed air bottles or hoses like an air shifter system. The unique shifter is a linear actuator design (not solenoid) incorporating a DC motor, spinning up at 25,000 RPM, planetary gearbox, lead screw arrangement and operates on a PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) drive system for total control and longevity.

The Powershift ECU requires a single ignition-on wire to be attached to a suitable ignition-on supply, like a head light or brake light +12volt supply wire. There are 2 ring terminal wires, battery positive and battery negative, that are simply placed on the battery terminals. The `F series' ECU or electronic control unit is mounted in a protected position on the vehicle. The Powershift shifter is mounted between the gear lever and a fixed point either on the engine or on the chassis.

The CNC handle bar bracket is mounted between the left hand handle bar grip and the switch gear mouldings. The Powershift shifter requires attaching between the gear lever and the chassis/frame or suitable custom made mounting bracket.

The TLS-PS2 Powershift push button gear shift system will work on any motorcycle application, however there may be need for some simple bracket fabrication to enable the body end of the shifter to be mounted if your motorcycle has a trellis style frame or you decide not to mount the body end of the shifter into the frame directly.

These high specification Powershift push button gear shifters are intended for drag racing and closed course racing and are not intended for commuting purposes. The Powershift systems require a service every 10,000 shifts or at a 6 month period for continued performance and reliability. It is strongly recommended that you calculate the kind of use your Powershift system is likely to experience to ascertain the product suitability prior to purchase. If you have a high use application why not consider the spare shifter upgrade so you'll always be able to race even during service intervals. Service cost is £35.00 plus VAT
